WHITE: Success!
My weekend racing in Canada is over! The Parts Canada Superbike Championship round at Mosport just finished up and overall I'd say it was a relatively successful weekend.Sun motorcycle racing parts day was sunny and warm again and the goal was to break into the 1:27s. I went out for morning Pro Sportbike practice and did a 1:28.3, which for me is pretty decent, especially considering I'm not much of morning person on a motorcycle. I am in life, but not on a motorcycle. So we were pretty encouraged going into the second practice of the day, which was Superbike, a little bit later in the morning. I went out in that particular session and took a little bit of time to get going, canada goose jackets, but was ultimately able to do four 1:27 laps time Street Bike Levers s,Men Moncler Jackets, adjustable clutch lever, the fastest of which was a 1:27.6. My goal for the weekend was met and we were pretty satisfied with the set-up of the motorcycle and ready to go racing.I got a good start in the Pro Sportbike race. I got off the line clean this time around and a couple laps into it I was able to do a 1:27.1 and was just knocking on the door of the 1:26s. I came in right after that and did the CBR125R Cup race and did those ten laps, got a little break and then it was decision time. Do I race the 600 in the Superbike race or not? I had intended not to race Superbike; the tire budget wouldn't allow it, Seat Covers but I was so close to the 1:26s. 1:27s are respectable for your first time at Mosport… some people -- Brett McCormick,Canada Goose coats, who is subbing for Aaron Yates at Jordan Suzuki in the AMA Superbike Championship, told me he did a 1:26 flat when he was 14 years old. So I put some pressure on myself to do some 1:26s.We actually made some changes to the motorcycle. We changed the gearing a little bit and made some suspension changes and I got going in the race and made it to right around the halfway point and it was just too much. I had already done 155 laps flat out. I don't ever go out on the track and just putz around so I was pretty worn out and the tires were moving around, so I decided to pull it in and call it a clutch and brake levers weekend. No crashes in 155 laps on the 600 and a 1:27.1 in the Pro Sportbike race and a 12th-place finish. So all-in-all, a fantast adjustable Lever ic time,Men Moncler Jackets, al Racing Parts l thanks to the Competition Systems, Kahuna Powersports,Canada Goose Parka, Vicki Schouten, Mike Crompton,Moncler Kids, and especially the entire crew over there and my mechanic,Moncler Sale, Mark Orchard. We had an absolute blast and special thanks to Alex Welsh for letting me invade h billet mirrors is canopy for the weekend -- he's the #7 Superbike ride on the Kawasaki ZX-10R. So thanks to everyone -- it was a great opportunity and I had a lot of fun.And next up for me? Mid-Ohio on Friday of this week. Back to work! I hope to see everyone this weekend at the AMA Superbike race.
