Ryan Villopoto Wins Daytona Supercross,racing lever
Ryan Villopoto gets another win plus the championship points lead at Daytona. Photography By: Shan MooreDAYTONA BEACH, FL,rear sets, MAR. 9 – Ryan Villopoto claimed his fifth win of year together with his third Daytona Supercross victory in four years which has an impressive performance at round 10 for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider also took above the series points lead in the win, moving two points before former points leader Davi Millsaps, who finished 10th on his Rockstar Energy Racing Suzuki.Starts had been oh so essential from this year’s series, and Villopoto got off to an amazing one, grabbing the holeshot to start the 20-lap top level, and holding it until a smallish slip midway inside the opening lap allowed Red Bull KTM’s Ken Roczen and Muscle Milk Honda’s Justin Barcia to squeeze by.Villopoto was definately not done, however, is without a doubt lap two he passed Barcia to maneuver into second. It felt just like an outdoor race in my position, and I’m content to be around the podium.”Fourth was Eli Tomac, who's going to be riding a small number of 450 rounds although the West Regional 250 class in on it’s break. The GEICO Honda rider finally got a reliable start on the 450 generating the most of it. Despite being among the fastest riders of the day, Chad Reed finished fifth on his TwoTwo Motorsports Honda, while Muscle Milk Honda’s Trey Canard was sixth. Roczen, another West Regional 250 rider, rode the KTM 350 to seventh. James Stewart was about fifth by lap three,Borse Gucci, but an accident on lap four dropped the Yoshimura Suzuki rider along the order. He eventually finished eighth,Motorcycle lever, previous to RCH/Dodge/Suzuki’s Broc Tickle.Millsaps got on an awful start and may never quite enter a groove, finishing the night in 10th and packing it in the series points cause Villopoto.From the 250 East Regional Division, Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin claimed his first-ever AMA Supercross victory after grabbing the holeshot and leading all 15 laps within the 250 main.“This was the longest race of living,” said Musquin. “I like this track, it’s fun will be able to ride, and that’s way I was able to well today.”Wil Hahn passed Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson on lap 10 to safely move into second,Borse Gucci Outlet, the GEICO Honda rider making a hostile move to manage this step. Wilson attemptedto retake the runner-up spot, but Hahn can close it as well as set distance between himself and Wilson. Hahn started to make second; extending his points lead using this method.Star Racing Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin have on a late charge to use third, passing Wilson with four laps to look. Wilson held on for fourth before Rockstar Energy Racing Suzuki’s Blake Wharton.With three rounds with the books,bar end mirror, Hahn holds a five point lead over Wilson, 92 points to 97, with Musquin sitting third with 87.Results:450 Main1.
