Celtic Racing Ready to Race at Road America This Weekend, motorcycle fairing
Celtic Racing is eager to return to Elkhart Lake Wisconsin for the second round of the 2013 AMA Pro Road Racing season at the historic Road America circuit. It has been a long break since the opening round at Daytona, but the entire Celtic Racing crew has been busy preparing, testing, and improving steadily. Road America presents the team and riders with unique challenges, and is tremendously entertaining for the spectators as well.National Guard Celtic Racing's James Rispoli scored a podium finish in the 2012 SuperSport Race 1 last year at Road America, and seeks to improve his results in the Daytona Sport Bike class this year aboard his #43 National Guard Celtic Racing Suzuki GSX-R 600. Rispoli is excited to get back to Road America and said that "after Daytona I chilled for a bit, and then got started doing some mountain biking for training, in addition to the road bike. We did a test at Barber which was very successful for the National Guard Celtic team, and after that I went out to California for the Star School and National Guard training day. Since then, I have been home and on the bicycle every day putting in a lot of work getting ready for road America. Shout out to Monster Energy, Techmounts, Spider Grips, AGV Helmets, and Dainese for all their support!"Corey Alexander has also used the time off to work hard at strength and endurance training. Alexander also enjoyed a podium finish in last year's SuperSport race 2, and will build on his 2013 Daytona podium to make Road America a success as well. Corey will be riding the #5 National Guard Suzuki GSX-R 600 in the SuperSport class, and stated "we've had an extremely long break in between Daytona and Road America. Luckily enough I've been able to ride some motocross, supermoto, and even a bit of roadracing in the break. I'm very, very excited to be able to throw my leg back over my National Guard Celtic Racing Suzuki again and build upon our podium finish at Daytona. I'm really looking forward to having a successful season and can't wait for it to begin! Thanks to all of my personal sponsors Arai Helmets, Spidi Leathers, XPD Boots, AMMO NYC, Hudson Valley Motorcycles, and the industries' and fans' patience during this racing hiatus!"Caroline Olsen will be aboard the #44 Celtic Orient Express Racing Suzuki GSX-R 600 in the highly competitive SuperSport class for the race at Road America. Caroline has been working closely with the Star Motorcycle School, honing her skills and learning about the U.S. tracks. Caroline explained that "after Daytona I went back to Norway to work on developing more sponsors. I've been living in California at Jason Pridmore's for the last month, training hard, and trying to prepare as well as possible for what is ahead this season. We had a very successful test at Barber with the team, so I'm very excited about the rest of the season." Caroline would like to thank her personal sponsors Arai Helmets, Cato Composites, Dainese Leathers, LOXY, Norgesautomaten, Lovaas Motor, Bike, Nordic Crane, Leif Grimsrud, Berg Sparebank, Skogheim Profil og Yrkesklaer, and F. Jorgensen.Celtic Racing is proud to partner with: Army National Guard, Michael Jordan Motorsports, Orient Express Racing, Hudson Valley Motorcycles, American Suzuki, Armour Bodies, Bazzaz, Chicken Hawk Racing, DesignStar3, D.I.D. Today, Citizen-Soldiers hold civilian jobs or attend college while training part time, staying ready to defend America in the event of an emergency. The National Guard serves both state and federal governments. During local emergencies, Guard units assist residents endangered by storms, floods, fires and other disasters.
