Jason Ditto doubled up inside the NHDRO Motorcycle Madness drag racing event in Ohio.Jason Ditto stood on the verge of a sportswriter’s dream when the Hoosier staged his Suzuki Hayabusa for Sunday’s Dennis Insurance Street ET final motorcycle helmet against second generation Ohio racer Ryan Robaugh. The thing is, Ditto won Street ET Saturday night at NHDRO’s Moto rear motorcycle stand rcycle Madness at National Trail Raceway near Columbus, Ohio, just in case he won again on Sunday, well, motorcycle mufflers, Ditto would repeat. When Ditto nailed an .020 light (vs. Robaugh’s .063), all held their breath for another 9 and a half seconds—“Don’t screw this up!” everyone thought, some muttering under their breath. And also there it had become, the winlight most women imagined! Ditto made it happen again. Joining Ditto as a general Saturday winner was all-time veteran champion around the globe Bruce Sauer. Within the AMA/Prostar days, doubling at events and collecting obelisks at the end of 2010 was commonplace for Kawasaki campaigner Sauer. Simply a week after gallbladder surgery, Arnold was still being extremely tender. He was racing Danny Miller inside of an early round when Miller grabbed a small number of front brake in an inopportune time, washing his front exhaust and sending him and also bike into dsl internet cable slides. Arnold was examining his shoulder on the crash as he noticed Miller’s bike was spinning right towards him and gaining fast. “I realized it had become gonna hit me should i didn’t get outta there!” Arnold twisted the throttle of his Fun For all those Motorsports Suzuki GSXR and sped outside the carnage. He later beat veteran racer and engine builder Dave Page in the final. Bradley Shellhaas won NHDRO Super Comp over Indy sportbike mirrors winner Dalton Markham. Similar that Shellhaas’ .001 reaction time was a hardship on Markham—or anyone—to overcome. Tennessean Quinn Orand scored a quick Catalyst Racing Composites Crazy 8s win when Wisconsin racer Chris Panko redlit. And legal counselor into the racing world, Kenny Schwartz, made the trip from St. Louis pay the balance of having Hornish Brothers Top Gas wow Chad Otts—a battle of index racing superstars if there has ever been one. His 4.09 was the runaway #1 qualifier, anf the matched ideal number of within the final for his second straight win. Also scoring his second straight was McIntosh Machine & Fabrication Pro Street racer Doug Gall. Not anymore a longshot, Ohioan Gall would be the star of one's 2013 season. He faced surprise finalist Shannon Maylee after Maylee got defending class champ Bud Yoder and Ronnie Mitchell’s “Rizzo” through the semi. Gall broke his chain crossing the stripe, tearing up a slice of his bike and preventing his signature celebratory circle burnouts. Port-Tech Grudge Racing became a latenight lively affair, including Michigan vs. Ohio match-ups.
