While running up front, Barcia ran there are various track together with his Honda stuck inside of a fence and had to ride off of the track. He was later excluded of your race outcomes for receiving outside assistance from a spectator who had lifted up a banner so he could re-enter the race. That spectator turned into former U.S. MXoN Champion Chuck Sun. The exclusion didn't replace the team's qualification into tomorrow's race, because the top two scores of each team are counted. However, it might've cost the team better gate picks tomorrow. Which is, Team USA has sixth pick behind Germany, Belgium, Italy, The Netherlands and France.Ryan Dungey must ditch his goggles.
